Blooming with the Confidence of a Survivor
My name is Maggie. I am 69 years old and I am a two year breast cancer survivor. Up until a few weeks ago I was not sure if I truly was going to be one (a survivor) or not, but I told everyone I was confident that I would survive no matter what. My belief in a higher being is great, not to mention that I've died twice and have come back....that in it self makes me pretty confident! I shared my cancer journey online. From its inception until now. I have many friends and family across the country and I believe in the power of prayer. At first my kids thought I was nuts to share a personal problem, especially a medical one, online, but like I said.... I believe.
Now that I have survived this disease - I want to give back to help fight it and help others going through it and that's why I've entered my Bra.
