Ten years of tending. Ten years of blooming. Ten years of Hope.

A decade ago, twelve hearts knelt to the Wyoming soil and planted a single, brave seed—one nourished by an early gift of $1,000 from Billy and Margaret Balthrop and watered with belief that hope could take root across all 23 counties.

From that seed grew the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative, and over ten years its garden has flourished. Through generosity, compassion, and events like Bras with a Cause, WBCI has blossomed into more than a mission—it has become a living landscape of support. More than $1.3 million has flowed into Wyoming communities, blooming into thousands of breast exams, mammograms, counseling sessions, gas cards, and boutique services. Each one a petal of comfort. Each one a stem of strength. Each one a reminder that no one faces breast cancer alone.

This bra honors the hands that have tended this garden—volunteers, staff, donors, and survivors—those who have pulled the weeds, carried the water, and nurtured hope year after year. Their care has transformed a single seed into a statewide field of resilience, awareness, and love.
