On April 26th, 2023 an immense amount of pain brought me to the ER. Tests and an ultrasound quickly showed that I was pregnant and that it was an ectopic pregnancy. I was admitted to labor and delivery which was a tough place to be and monitored for surgery. I was fortunate to not need it and discharged under next day. Once I was sent home the reality of what we were going through set in. My physical recovery was tough but we got through it. My job as a daycare provider became a source of comfort and pain. We found NFTS where we learned how to celebrate our Angel we later named Bethany Caroline after my Dad Carroll. We met friends who became family and they supported us through the pregnancy with our rainbow baby Kayden. We love participating in this fundraiser and we love even more that Kayden gets to represent his sister sporting a shirt with her name on it to support "Team Miller." Seeing her name on the back of shirts of our family and friends means so much as well as seeing her name in the field on the heart. Donations made to our fundraiser go to help this wonderful organization help families like ours.
