Help us support Lung Cancer Research and Survivors!
I was diagnosed with lung cancer at 42 as a mom of three with zero risk factors. After surgery to remove my lower lobe from my left lung and three years of targeted therapy, I am currently NED (No Evidence of Disease)! However, since my diagnosis I have learned that while lung cancer kills more people than breast, colon, and prostate cancers combined, it is the least funded due to stigma. Many people, whether consciously or not, seem to believe that people deserve lung cancer. Anyone with Lungs Can Get Lung Cancer, and No One Deserves It!
