Jamaka wanted her life to touch at least one person. Her story is so powerful that I do not think she will ever know the impact she made on the world she left behind. I walked through some dark times with her, and she always said to me, 'I'm going through this to help someone,' no matter what it was or how bad it got.​On the first Sunday I went to her church since the funeral, people who had never even met her came to me saying how much her story had inspired their lives—young and old alike. THAT WAS HER PURPOSE, and she knew it. I love her for allowing me to be a part of such a beautiful gift to this world. I wish everyone could have joined that wonderful journey; it was amazing!
