Let’s make immobility a thing of the past with the Range of Motion Project!
I was born with a condition called arthrogryposis, causing my left arm to remain underdeveloped. Growing a love for mountains early on, I have made my life around them. I moved to Vail, CO, after college, leaving my home state of North Carolina, where I improved my skiing and became a ski instructor. I’ve had stints working as a wilderness ranger for the Forest Service in CO and volunteering as a mountaineering guide in British Columbia. Currently living in Jackson Hole, WY, I continue to work as a ski instructor for people with and without disabilities and as a wildlife naturalist guide, teaching guests of the area and finding wildlife. Climbing mountains and advocating for people with disabilities in outdoor spaces are two of my passions, and this will be my second climb with ROMP. I’m excited to raise support for needed prosthetics and to get on the mountain with the team again!
