About the project!

I am captaining a fundraising climb to raise money and awareness for amputees living without prosthetics. I will be part of a team of amputee and able bodied climbers who will attempt to summit Cotopaxi (19,347’) this October.  There is beauty in struggle and it is truly beautiful to see this team struggle together with a common goal of helping others.  I believe that the effort and the mental and physical suffering that we experience while climbing these mountains is symbolic of what amputees living without a prosthesis feel every day. That’s why it’s important that I succeed in this fundraising endeavor to help other amputees. 

Where does your donation go? 

Every team member is responsible for paying their own travel and trip fees so that every dollar donated will go directly to patient care through ROMP.  

About ROMP

Range Of Motion Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is able to provide high-quality prosthetics, prosthetic care, and necessary physical therapy to patients for a low price.  Approximately $2500 will provide one patient with their entire prosthetic rehabilitation. As a result of ROMP’s 501(c)(3) designation, your donation is tax-deductible.
