This is my 9th Walk for Animals, and I am raising funds this year for two reasons: One, in honor of my dog Mr. Bumpus, who started it all. After we adopted him from a shelter in NJ, I started volunteering there, and eventually that experience led me to become ED of CVHS back in 2016.

My second reason is that CVHS is an amazing place. It has been an honor and a pleasure for me to work here, to see first-hand the hard work, dedication and commitment of the staff, volunteers, and our BOD (also all volunteer).  The support from our community, from people like you, has been inspiring.  Through it all, the pandemic, floods, cruelty cases, you name it, our community has come through for the animals again and again. Together we have saved thousands of animals, with your support we will save thousands more.  Thank you.
