Thank you so much for being here and for supporting my personal fundraising efforts as part of the new team, Legacy of Hope, in this year’s Dempsey Challenge.

This year marks my 16th Dempsey Challenge, and this journey continues to mean more to me with each passing year. I’m deeply proud to have personally raised $69,417.49, and to have been part of Team Concentra, which raised more than $1.1 million over 17 years in support of the Dempsey Center. That incredible legacy of generosity and compassion is something I carry forward through Team Legacy of Hope.

I fundraise in memory and honor of the many people in my life affected by cancer—my Grandma, my cousin Colleen, my Aunt Ellie, who continues her fight, and so many others. On event day, I carry them in my heart with every step. I also walk for friends, co‑workers, loved ones, and countless individuals I’ve never met, each with their own cancer journey and need for support.

I’ve seen firsthand how powerful and meaningful the Dempsey Center’s services are. I know this fundraising truly makes a difference by helping provide no‑cost, compassionate care during one of the hardest times of a person’s life. That impact—and the people I walk for—are why I continue to return year after year.

The Dempsey Challenge is the premier fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by supporting their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well‑being—at any point in their cancer journey—all at no cost.

Your donation helps support cancer patients, survivors, care partners, and their loved ones, ensuring these vital services remain available for years to come.
