Here we go again Year Four in the making. Three of those years I’ve been incredibly grateful to share with my teenage son, which has made this journey even more meaningful. I’m starting my fundraising efforts early this year with the hope that we can raise the bar and make an even bigger impact. After 12 years working in oncology, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply cancer affects not only patients, but their families as well. It’s changed the way I see life reminding me daily to live fully, cherish every moment, let go of what no longer serves me, and never be afraid to start over. There are so many life lessons wrapped up in the work we do. Our patients often call us angels, but truthfully, it’s them who inspire us. They show us strength, dignity, resilience, and an incredible love for life. We walk to honor them, to celebrate them, and to bring our community together because no matter what, none of us are ever alone. ?
