Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge! This is my second year participating and I am excited to be a part of this wonderful event again. 

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.

I lost my mom to breast cancer at the age of 53 over 30 years ago. My sister and several loved ones in my family have fought, or are fighting, their own battle against this disease. There are probably few people who can actually say that they don't know someone who has fought against this disease. So I walk in honor and in memory of them all, to give them hope for a cancer free future.

With a donation made to my page, you can help support thousands of cancer patients, survivors, care partners, and their loved ones. Gifts of any amount will provide no-cost support for years to come. I surpassed my fundraising goal last year with your help. Let's see if we can do it again!
