Thank you for clicking on my page and for your interest in supporting The Dempsey Center. As you likely know, I lost my wife Laurie to breast cancer in August of 2024. As some of you know, Laurie and I both received support from The Dempsey Center during and after her treatment.
Laurie received accupunture, Reiki and massage to deal with the many chellenging side effects of chemotherapy and other treatments. She participated in a Live Strong program for survivors where she met and became friends with some amazing women.
I was a part of a caregiver's group that was a lifeline for me, especially in the last year of her life. The people in that group understood things that other people didn't. We shared, cried together and celebrated together. I was also matched with a grief therapist who got me through the hardest time of my life.
These are just a few of the services and supports that Dempsey offers. This is my ONE fundraiser each year because their mission is so dear to me. It is life-chainging.
