Hey everyone!

On September 19, 2026, I’m hopping on my bicycle for the Dempsey Challenge. I'll be joining other riders and cycling 65 miles to support an incredible cause. We don't just ride for the finish line; we ride for the cancer survivors, the cancer fighters, and the loved ones we’ve lost.

We all know someone whose life has been turned upside down by a diagnosis. Every day, thousands of families receive the news that changes everything: "It’s cancer." The physical battle is hard enough, but the financial stress and emotional toll are overwhelming.

The Dempsey Center believes that no one should have to face the cancer journey alone. The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. Its mission is to make life better for people affected by cancer and to ease the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey. And all services are provided at no cost.
