I’m running the Dempsey Challenge this year with a full heart and a very personal reason.
My wife is a cancer survivor. With her fighting—and ultimately beating—cancer it was the hardest and most inspiring experience of her life. It changed the way we see everything: time, resilience, and what truly matters.
This run is for her.
It’s also for everyone who has faced cancer head-on—the fighters, the survivors, and those we carry with us in spirit.
Every step I take is a reminder of the strength it takes to endure, the importance of support systems, and the impact that research, care, and compassion can have on a person’s life.
