On July 1, 2022, our family went to our 20-week ultrasound expecting to learn the gender of our third baby, but instead we heard the words no parent is prepared for—our baby no longer had a heartbeat. We chose to deliver so we could meet him, hold him, and say goodbye, and after 19 hours of labor our perfect son, Henry James Cooper, was born at just 4.4 ounces. In the time we had with him, our family held him, read to him, and made memories we will treasure forever. Finding No Foot Too Small helped us realize the importance of sharing Henry’s story and honoring his life, and events like Angels in the Outfield allow families like ours to celebrate their babies, raise awareness, and remind others that their lives—no matter how short—matter. ?
