Derek and I were devestated when we found out our first pregnancy was ending in heartbreak instead of joy. 

We were lost in lonely grief in a world with painful stigmas surrounding pregnancy loss, until we connected with No Foot Too Small. The support from NFTS validated our grief at every turn. 

We named our child Agape, meaning love, because all he or she ever knew was our love.

No Foot Too Small called us "Mom" and "Dad" when all we had were empty arms. 

They created a space to grieve and to celebrate the milestones that "should've been". They loaned us books to support us. And made this painful journey one not so lonely, where we can celebrate all the love we have with others who know our pain.

We're excited to come together to participate in 2026 Des Moines Angels in the Outfield, a fundraiser supporting No Foot Too Small. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference!
