My first Parkinsons walk was in October 2013 at Okemos Michigan. it was with family, as we walked to support my brother, who has parkinson's. Then in May of 2021 i was diagnosed with parkinson's myself. Since that time i have walked in the fall of 2024 and 2025 to support fund raising for the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation. This will be my Fourth walk. More of my family will join me this year.
If you are able to contribute or join me in the walk on September 12, it will be much appreciated. I have currently raised 50% of my goal of $200.
Following is some facts of what the Michigan parkinson's Foundation does.
