Why I Run for Team Fired Up

If you’ve made it this far—yes, I’m running at Disney again!

While I truly love both Disney and running, what matters most to me is making a difference wherever I can. That’s why, year after year, I choose to raise funds for the Dragon Master Initiative—a cause that is incredibly close to my heart as a nurse and as someone whose own family has been directly affected by cancer.

These races are about more than personal achievement. While crossing the finish line is rewarding, it’s the purpose behind each mile that truly drives me. I’m running for those who can’t—and for the hope of a future where fewer families have to face this fight.
