Why I Run for Team Fired Up

I first participated with Team Fired Up for the 2024 Princess Half Marathon Weekend and I was so inspired by their mission and the people behind the cause. Amanda and Austin are two of the most genuine people I have ever met, and I love listening to the updates Amanda has regarding upcoming projects regarding children's cancer research. This includes getting AI invovled with reading genomic sequences of DNA to identify markers and/or anomalies to help further the understanding of why these cancers occur in children.

This will be my 2nd weekend participating with them, however I have fundraised for them for two previous race weekends. I am a part of Team Fired Up for life!
