As many of you know, Glenn had a deep love for dogs, and he missed his beloved Nikita dearly. In recent months, as he considered moving to the West Coast to be closer to family, we spoke about the possibility of him applying for a service dog through Canine Companions.

These remarkable dogs provide life-changing support to individuals with disabilities, veterans living with PTSD, and those who are hearing impaired. Canine Companions is one of the most highly respected organizations in this field—and notably, one of the few that provides these expertly trained service dogs at no cost to recipients.

The process of breeding, raising, and training each dog takes nearly two years and requires significant resources. With a long waiting list and growing need, their mission depends on the generosity of donors.
