JT and I are first time Canine Companions puppy raisers. Patches will be with us for the next 18 - 22 months where we will focus on training basic skills before she moves onto formal evaluation and training as a service dog. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to help others!
In addition to puppy raising, I'm participating in this year's DogFest Bay Area 2026 because I love dogs and know the joy they bring to our lives each and every day. I also believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Canine Companions DogFest is a signature national peer-to-peer fundraising and community festival celebrating the human-canine bond. The fesitval is free and open to the public, these family- and dog-friendly events feature music, activities, vendors, and service dog demonstrations to raise money and awareness for Canine Companions.
Leading up to DogFest Bay Area 2026, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible.
