I’m participating in this year’s DogFest Northwest to raise money for Canine Companions.
Canine Companions provided me with my service dog, Thompson IV, free of charge.
July 23rd was our fifth year anniversary. Thompson is amazing and we are a perfect team. Thompson was raised in a Canine Companions puppy raising prison program.
In August 2024, future service dog, Vincent VI, entered our lives. My mom, Bonny, Thompson and I co-raised Vincent with the Mule Creek State Prison as well as the CHCF Stockton puppy raising program. Vincent's arrival and the opportunity to co-raise in a similar program to Thompson is allowing us to be a part of the journey for someone else. In July of 2026 Vincent was matched with a veteran. We were so proud to see him complete his year long training to become a service dog.
Canine Companions provided me with a service dog and it changed my life.
Will you help support the Canine Companions mission by donating to my fundraiser for them?
Thank you for your generosity!
Sincerely,
Jane Griebstein
