I joined Canine Companions a year ago and everyone did a great job rallying for the DogFest 2025 fundraiser in honor of our dog Lily (who had recently passed). I have since become the Gulf Coast (Houston) chapter photographer, and I get to meet all the dogs that our volunteers work so hard to train!

In 2026, I'd like to raise money for Canine Companions again - this volunteer job is very dear to me, and the organization is full of amazing, dedicated people all working hard to train service dogs and help others. 

The Canine Companions mission is to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge, including lifelong support of the service dogs of course. 

I've met a number of clients of Canine Companions, and the fully trained service dogs are really incredible! They have a huge impact on the lives of people with disabilities.

We have about a month until DogFest 2026, so any consideration or donation would be greatly appreciated!

Like last year, I'm making this fundraiser in honor of Lily, though this year our new pups Elodie and Luxor would also be honored by all contributions!
