Join me in celebrating a "New Chapter" for me and Canine Companions!
I am honored to be in my new role as Executive Director for the Northeast Region of Canine Companions! This organization has always held a special place in my heart, and leading our regional efforts across the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania,
Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine is an honor I don’t take lightly!
To kick off this new chapter, I am participating in DogFest 2026. This isn't just a celebration of our four-legged friends; it’s our signature event to raise the vital funds needed to provide expertly trained service dogs to veterans, children and adults with disabilities—completely free of charge.
Why your support matters more than ever:
- Independence is the Goal: Each service dog is trained in up to 45 specialized tasks, from opening doors to alerting for help, giving their partners newfound independence.
- Closing the Gap: It takes significant resources to raise and train these incredible dogs, yet we never charge our clients a penny.
- Direct Impact: Your donations help us place more life-changing dogs with the people on our waiting list.
My personal goal is to raise $1,000 to celebrate my first DogFest as Executive Director. Whether you can give $10, $25, $100 or above, every dollar make a difference and brings a service dog one step closer to its forever partner.
