After experiencing the life changing difference a highly skilled service dog from Canine Companions makes for my daughter, Maddie, our whole family agreed to work together to pay it forward - to bring more of these amazing dogs to people that need them, free of charge.
JJ, Maddie's service dog, retrieves items that are out of reach from her wheelchair, flips light switches, opens and closes doors and drawers, helps tug off her clothes and put them in the hamper, tugs the laundry bag, mentors future service dogs we raise, and fills her every day with love and joy.
Leading up to DogFest Long Island 2026, we're raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. Please help me get to my fundraising goal so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them. Every little bit will help me reach my goal.
