On Sunday, September 26, 2026, our team will be taking on the Hamptons Marathon & Half Marathon and 5K!

Join our team's Co-Captains Jessica Reiss (Northeast Region Program Director) & Rudy J. Breedy (Executive Director) as they take steps and raise funds to support the mission! 

Jess, Rudy and all other team member aren't participating to achieve a personal best; they're here to support Canine Companions, an amazing organization that provides expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities—all at no cost to the recipients.

Why Your Donation Matters

It takes nearly two years to expertly train a Canine Companions service dog in over 45 specialized tasks, such as retrieving dropped items, opening doors, and pulling wheelchairs.

Your support helps:

Fund Training: Every dollar goes toward the breeding, raising, and professional training of these life-changing dogs.

Ensure Independence: These dogs provide their human partners with the confidence to navigate the world more independently.

Keep it Free: Thanks to donors like you, Canine Companions has never charged a client for a service dog since they began in 1975.
