I'm participating in DogFest North Central 2026 because I love dogs and know the joy they bring to our lives each and every day. I also believe so strongly in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.

Jim and I are also thrilled to support the Canine Companion partnership with the Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lancaster, Ohio, which provides much needed puppy raisers from among the best of the best of  their inmates. And, as importantly, puppy raising provides focus and purpose to the inmates who are selected for the program, significantly reducing the rate of recidivism!

Leading up to DogFest North Central 2026, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The ability these dogs have to provide independence to their “furever” person is truly amazing!!!  And now we are helping society as well through our prison program.
