I feel deeply passionate about the work done by Canine Companions because of the profound independence and confidence these extraordinary dogs bring into people’s lives. The dedication, expertise, and care that go into raising and training each dog is truly inspiring, and the result is far more than a highly skilled service animal—it’s a compassionate partner that transforms everyday challenges into possibilities.
Leading up to DogFest Southwest 2026, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible.
