Registration Overview

Team captains are responsible for ensuring their team fundraises a minimum of $1,500 by June 1, 2026 to cover the boat registration fee. A $500 team deposit is due by May 1, 2026. This deposit will allow you to choose your team t-shirt color, practice night, and Tent Location. 

Individual paddlers who don't have a team and would like to be placed on a team, must fundraise a minimum of $100 by June 1, 2026 to participate.

Each team consists of 16 paddlers, 1 drummer, and up to 2 alternates (more alternates can be included but there will be an additional fee). 

All Participants need to be at least 16 years or older by June 13, 2026.

Why are we racing?

Over 35,000 people in Southern Maryland are food insecure (Maryland Food Bank). End Hunger In Calvert County is on a mission to change that. End Hunger provides food and products to 52 feeding organizations and backpack programs throughout Southern Maryland. 

The North Beach Dragon Boat Festival is one of End Hunger In Calvert County's largest fundraisers of the year with all proceeds going to assisting our work of feeding our neighbors and supporting individuals with learning differences on their journey towards gaining meaningful employment. Ways to Participate

1. Create a team for your business, organization, gym, or group of friends!

As a team captain, you can invite individuals to join your team. Teams must have a minimum of 15 rowing members and one drummer. Teams are responsible for fundraising a minimum of $1500 to participate.
