About the Tour

The TD Five Boro Bike Tour is the largest charitable cycling event in the United States, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds through the joy of car-free cycling. What started in 1977 with a mere 250 participants has grown into a world-class event that serves as the ultimate way to experience the vibrancy of New York City’s neighborhoods.

The 40-mile course offers a unique perspective of the city, taking riders through the heart of Manhattan, over the Harlem River into the Bronx, down the scenic FDR Drive into Queens and Brooklyn, and culminating in a breathtaking trip across the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge to the Finish Festival on Staten Island.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, over 32,000 cyclists will take over the streets of New York. It is a day where the city’s iconic bridges and avenues belong to the people, all while supporting programs that ensure New York’s youth have the tools to succeed in college, careers, and beyond.
