IN MEMORIAM – TEAM LISA JOY!!!!

"Scleroderma is a disease affecting over 500,000 persons in the United States, and is increasing at the rate of 4,000 persons per year. For most people with Scleroderma, the disease has a serious impact on their daily life. For many, it is life threatening.

Our daughter, Lisa, had a rare type affecting only a small portion of those affected, which included her heart, lungs, esophagus, hands, feet and digestive system.  On July 11, 2022, after a long battle over many years with the disease, and 111 days in the hospital, fighting with all her strength and might, unfortunately, Lisa passed away at age 52, leaving behind her husband and 3 young girls. 

It is important that we find a cure for this terrible disease.  Through research, needing dollars to be funded, we are asking you to make a contribution to the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Chicago, in honor of Lisa.  If you have donated in the past, please consider an increase of 10%, or any greater amount you choose, but PLEASE consider any amount.  You can go to our link at:

If you choose to send a check rather than using the internet, be sure to make it out to SCLERODERMA FOUNDATION OF GREATER CHICAGO, and you can mail it to us at:

and we will forward it to the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Chicago.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY CHECKS DIRECTLY TO “THE NATIONAL SCLERODERMA FOUNDATION”, as that will only cause fundraising confusion.
