At the end of March last year, we received the devastating news that our son's heart had stopped beating, and that he would be delivered still at 22 weeks and 1 day. This loss came just over a year after our first miscarriage at 9 weeks the previous March.

What we didn’t know then was that the work of No Foot Too Small in the years before had helped make possible the remarkable birthing and bereavement suite where we would meet our tiny but perfect little Moonbug, Eli.

That space gave us privacy to grieve, but even more than that, the people surrounding us gave us care and compassion that somehow carried us through the worst days of our lives. Through their work, families like ours are given a quiet, compassionate space to meet their babies, make memories, and be cared for in the middle of unimaginable loss.

As we approach our precious Eli’s birthday this year, we want to honor him by giving back to No Foot Too Small so that other families can experience the same care and support that meant so much to us.

We’re so excited to participate in 2026 Homestyle Angels in the Outfield, a fundraiser supporting No Foot Too Small. After losing our first baby at 9 weeks and then our tiny but perfect little Moonbug, Eli, at 22 weeks, we know firsthand how important compassionate support is during unimaginable loss.
