AWARDS HISTORY

The Foley Freedom Awards, established in 2016, honor individuals, like Jim, who exemplify moral courage and show compassion for and commitment to securing the freedom of Americans unjustly held captive abroad and journalist safety.

The Freedom Awards have recognized nearly 50 awardees for their commendable work including David Bradley, Ali Soufan, Jason Rezaian, Malala Yousafzai, Roger Carstens, Judy Woodruff, Christiane Amanpour and many more.
