Matan Sivek is the Co-Founder of the Hostage Families Forum in Washington, DC. Together with his wife, Bar Ben Yaakov, he has led a U.S. advocacy campaign for families of hostages taken by Hamas into Gaza on October 7, helping keep the issue top of mind with U.S. and international stakeholders. He is also Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at IsraAID. Matan is originally from Israel and holds a Master’s in Global Leadership from Columbia University, and an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Economics and the Amirim Honors Program from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Bar, and their two children, Ari (4) and Liam (8 months).
