Course
The route is 1.5 miles in length along a paved-path, mostly adjacent to the water. It begins and ends at the Red Tail Pavilion, where check-in, registration, and the program will take place. There is a shorter route available closer to the Pavilion.
Water will be distributed at the start of the route. Hero signs are visible along the route. Take and share photos of your Hero signs.
Wagons, walkers, strollers, and dogs (on a 6ft or less leash at all times) are welcomed along the route on the park grounds.
Because the route is located on an outdoor paved path, we suggest wearing bug repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. There are limited restrooms along the route. There is also a restroom located at the Red Tail Pavilion.
Take your time – the walk is not a race and it is not timed.
Note: there is no expectation to walk the route! Feel free to mingle and connect with others, visit the sponsor tables, photobooth, or the kids korner.
