Why We Bowl?
Junior Achievement (JA) of Kansas is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
Last year, JA reached 19,348 students in 939 classrooms across Kansas, with more than 5,000 of those students being in Douglas County and surrounding communities. We did it with the help of supporters like you! With your fundraising efforts, we can reach more children, improving their futures and building a stronger Kansas.

Support JA Programming for Kansas Kids!
The JA Bowl-A-Thon team event will include fun, prizes, and bowling. This year's event will be held the weekend of November 13-14. The Bowl-A-Thon will be held Friday-Sunday and allow for many different bowling times at Royal Crest Lanes, 933 Iowa Street, Lawrence KS 66044. We do have sponsorship opportunities available so please contact Wendy Hodges at wendy@kansasja.org with questions or to receive additional event information.
Our community volunteers go into the classroom and teach children the skills they need to succeed using age-appropriate, hands-on activities that deliver important knowledge in a fun and interactive way. Our volunteer role models, who come from all avenues of business, provide real-world experiences and knowledge.
The Bowl-A-Thon event raises much needed funds to provide training to classroom volunteers and program materials for students in elementary, middle, and high school. Thanks for being a hero to Kansas kids!
