I’m thrilled to be participating in 2026 Little Lights Giving Day, a fundraiser supporting Little Lights Urban Ministries in Washington, DC! During the past several years, I have volunteered with Little Lights as both a mentor and a reading tutor. It has been both a fun and rewarding experience. I've learned middle school slang, widened my music repertoire (hello, Rod Wave!), and helped students sound out new words, practice reading, and find creative ways to make reading comprehension into a game (but I think they were onto me). Little Lights does inspiring work with incredible impact. Every gift--big or small--makes a difference.
