Walking for Women

It gets easier every year. My new badass short red hair and my bionic knees, Athena and Diana, are aiming to beat last year's 3-hour walk.

I'm raising money for Mary Kay Ash Foundation!

Chances are, every one of us knows someone whose life has been touched by domestic violence or cancer—even if we don't know their story.

That's why I'm walking the MK5K again this year. For 30 years, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation has worked to improve the lives of women affected by domestic violence and cancer, contributing more than $100 million toward those two missions.

One of the things I love about this Foundation is how much of every donation goes toward helping women—about 97 cents of every dollar. That money supports domestic violence shelters and programs and research into cancers affecting women.

Any amount matters. And if donating isn't possible right now, sharing my page helps too.

I'll do the walking—with Athena and Diana, my trusty bionic knees. You help give me a reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
