I'm raising money for National PKU Alliance
Throughout the month of May, I’m participating in Move Your Pheet to raise awareness and support for the National PKU Alliance (NPKUA). PKU, or phenylketonuria, is a rare genetic condition that affects a person's ability to break down an amino acid found in protein. Without proper diagnosis and management, it can lead to serious adverse health consequences.
NPKUA is dedicated to funding research for better treatments, supporting families living with PKU and working toward a cure. Every step I take — and every dollar you give — brings us closer to a future without limits for those with PKU.
My activity is to donate $50 for every mile I swim this month to NPKUA. My goal is to swim at least 30 miles by May 31. As of today, I have clocked 15 miles -- ahead of schedule! Please donate and help make a difference. Your support means the world to the PKU community. Let’s move together and create real change!
