My Story

My water polo journey started relatively recently—just over two years ago in a summer rec program in Mesa, AZ. I fell in love with the game instantly, but I knew I had a lot of ground to make up. That spark led me to transition into year-round training with a USA Water Polo club in Arizona, where I've been committing myself to mastering the sport.

Since then, my progression has been a whirlwind. Through many hours spent in the pool and a passion for the game, I’ve seen my skills reach a level I never thought possible in such a short time. Today, I find myself competing at the National Team Selection Camp for a chance to represent Team USA. This journey has taught me that with enough discipline and a great team behind you, no goal is out of reach. 

Why I Love Water Polo

I love water polo because it challenges me to be my best every day and teaches me how to be a better teammate. It’s often called the hardest sport in the world, and I love the unique combination of physical toughness and mental strategy it requires. Whether it’s finding a second wind during a grueling match or working in perfect sync with my team to make a play, this sport has taught me resilience and discipline that I carry with me out of the pool. Who knows maybe it will help propel me to becoming a Navy SEAL or an officer in the US Military Special Forces.
