(the past, the present, the future)

The summer of 2022 was the first time I hopped into the pool. Luckily, many of my cousins played the game, so I was quickly welcomed into the water polo community. I have been playing water polo at Kamehameha Schools for four consecutive years. During my 8th-grade year, I was blessed with the opportunity to join the USA water polo pipeline, making the Development National team. A year later, I found myself competing at the U15 Pan American games with the cadet national team. 

Today, I am a sophomore in high school, focusing primarily on finalizing my academic and athletic journey for the future. 2026 is a crucial year for waterpolo, hence the cadet national will be competing in the World Aquatics Men’s U16 Water Polo Championships. As we get closer to NTSC it is imperative that I put forward the best of my ability in every aspect of my life. 

Looking forward, I hope to pursue waterpolo at the highest level. To continue my love for waterpolo in college or internationally will ultimately reach my goals. As an athlete I am transparent to the fact that “nothing is guaranteed” but that does not mean I can’t give all my effort!
