My Story & Why I Love Water Polo

I was introduced to water polo through my swim team. I immediately felt it was a better fit for me. It’s a great feeling to be part of a group talking, passing, and working together. I still love sprinting but the best feeling is when you make a good pass or someone scores off something you helped set up.

I was so lucky to cheer for the USA teams, in person, in the 2024 Olympics. I remember seeing how fast they moved the ball and how strong they were in the water, and it just looked awesome. They are amazing athletes! Since then, I’ve been trying to work a lot harder and working in and out of the pool to make me better at water polo. I am so excited to go to National Team Selection Camp. I look forward to working with the coaches, learning new skills, and connecting with more people my age who also love water polo.
