My Story

Hi! My name is Madeline Doyle. I am 14 years old, in the 8th grade, and I play water polo! I have lived in Naperville, Illinois my whole life. I started playing water polo at age 8 at our neighborhood pool, Farmstead (where I still play every summer!), and began playing club for the West Suburban Water Polo Club (WSWPC) when I was 9.

Since then, I have had the honor of representing the Midwest Zone at the National Championships two times so far.

Water polo has become a huge part of my life. Through the sport, I’ve learned discipline, teamwork, and how to push myself every day to improve. I’ve built incredible friendships and grown both in and out of the pool – and I’m excited to continue that journey at the next level in California!

Why I Love Water Polo

I love water polo for a lot of different reasons, but the main one is just how much fun I have playing it. I love the people, the experiences, and the challenge of the game. I am always looking for room to improve, and I love pushing myself to the next level.

Why Your Support Matters

This camp is important because it is going to push me, and other athletes, to show our best and reach the next level. It will give us the opportunity to play hard, make mistakes, and learn how to fix them so we can become better players.

As part of this journey, my goal is to raise $1,475 to help fund training, coaching, and development opportunities—both for me and for the future of the Olympic Development Program. Your support directly helps make opportunities like this possible!

Looking Ahead

This page will stay with me throughout the 2026 ODP season, including NTSC and future Pipeline experiences. If I’m selected for additional training camps or international competitions, I’ll continue updating my journey right here as I work toward the next level!
