My Story

I started playing water polo when I was just 7 years old at my summer club, where I was told to play with the older kids in a game. It was intimidating at first, but it pushed me to improve quickly, and I fell in love with the sport right away. As I got older, the practices became tougher and the games more intense, challenging me both physically and mentally. There were times when I felt exhausted and overwhelmed, especially after difficult games, but those moments helped me grow stronger. With the support of my teammates and coaches, I learned to push through, and water polo became a huge part of who I am.

Why I Love Water Polo

I love water polo because it constantly pushes me to improve and give my best effort, even on the hardest days. The sport challenges me both physically and mentally, forcing me to stay focused, disciplined, and determined. At the same time, it has taught me the importance of teamwork and trusting the people around me. Being part of a team has shown me how to support others and work together toward a common goal, which is something I value both in and out of the pool.

Looking Ahead

This page will stay with me throughout the 2026 ODP season, including NTSC and future Pipeline experiences.  If I’m selected for additional training camps or international competitions, I’ll continue updating my journey here as I work toward the next level.
