My Story

Hi, I’m Cord McCall. I am going to be a junior at Merced High School, and my dream is to represent our country at the highest level of water polo.

In May of 2025, I had the incredible honor of being selected to play for Team USA at the Pan American Aquatic Championships in Medellín, Colombia. Representing the United States on the international stage was an unforgettable experience, and it fueled my drive to keep pushing for the next level.

In the fall of 2025, I helped lead Merced High School to our first CIF San Joaquin Section title in 31 years—a historic milestone for our school and community.

This past spring, I have been training relentlessly with the USA national team program. Out of a highly competitive field, I was recently selected as one of the final 24 athletes to attend the National Team Selection Camp at the end of June.

Why Your Support Matters

I have been working hard all year for this moment, and the stakes are high. Following this upcoming camp, the coaching staff will select the final 15 athletes to represent the U.S. Cadet National Team at the World Aquatics Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, this August.

Even if I am not selected for the final World Championship roster, the journey doesn't stop. I will travel to Hungary or Serbia with a selection team to train for a week against elite, high-level European clubs—an invaluable development opportunity that will prepare me for the future.
