Water polo has taught me so much more than how to compete. It has taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and what it means to work toward something bigger than myself. Some of my closest friendships have been built through this sport, and every practice and game has helped shape who I am both in and out of the pool.
Representing Team USA at the 2026 World Championships in Croatia is an honor. 
This tournament is especially meaningful to me because my dad is from Zagreb, where the World Championships will be held. I’ll have the incredible opportunity to compete in the same pool where he grew up playing water polo. Being able to represent Team USA while competing in a place that means so much to my family makes this experience even more special.
While earning a spot on Team USA is an amazing achievement, athletes and their families are responsible for many of the expenses associated with competing internationally, including travel, lodging, meals, and training.
