My Story

I've always loved being in the water and started swim team when I was four. When I was nine, I tried water polo, and it didn't take long for me to know this was my sport. Throw in a ball, a whole team, and a fast paced game, and I discovered something so fun, and way harder than it looks.

Water polo is a huge part of my life now. It's taught me teamwork, discipline, and how to take care of myself so I can keep showing up and getting better. I've made incredible friendships along the way, and I've grown so much both in and out of the pool. I'm really excited to keep going at this next competitive level.

Why I Love Water Polo

I've really fallen in love with the game. One of my favorite things about water polo is how much thinking and strategy goes into it. You're always reading the other team, staying aware of your teammates, and trying to think a few steps ahead. It keeps you on your toes the entire time, and I love that.

Another big part of what makes it so special to me is my teammates. The water polo community is fun, supportive, and full of people who work really hard. Some of my favorite people are the girls I get to play with, and being surrounded by teammates who push each other to get better makes the experience even more meaningful.

Looking Ahead

This page will stay with me throughout the 2026 ODP season, including NTSC and future Pipeline experiences.  If I’m selected for additional training camps or international competitions, I’ll continue updating my journey here as I work toward the next level.
