2026 NYC Marathon Fundraising Page

I’m thrilled to be participating as a BellRunner in the 2026 New York City Marathon, running and fundraising in honor of The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs and my son, Winston!

A Little About Winston

Prior to being born, Winston was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. When he was a week old, Winston suffered a cardiac arrest. He spent the next 3 months of his young life in the Cardiac ICU at Children's of Alabama. Through being on ECMO, multiple cardiac procedures, numerous medical interventions, countless medications, and even discussions of a heart transplant, Winston fought the toughest fight. He slowly but surely improved. As a result of his early medical difficulties, Winston was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Despite all he's been through, today Winston is a happy, mischievous toddler with the best smile and a love for of his family (especially his big brother, little sister, and dog!), his friends, school, and The Bell Center! Because of his cerebral palsy, he has to do many things in different ways, but Winston's way works perfectly for him!

We reached out to The Bell Center before Winston was even out of the hospital after hearing wonderful things about TBC from many of his doctors and nurses. He started at The Bell Center the week he was discharged home. Winston has attended The Bell Center for almost 3 years now, receiving therapies, equipment, and endless support from this world-class facility and the people that make it run! Through Winston, I have seen firsthand the tremendous impact The Bell Center makes on children, their families, and the community as a whole! I am thrilled to be able to support such a wonderful cause through running the New York City Marathon!

A Little About The Bell Center

The Bell Center is dedicated to maximizing the potential of children ages birth to three who are at risk for developmental delay. Did you know:

  • The Bell Center is only transdisciplinary, center-based early intervention program in the state of Alabama.
  • Every child enrolled in our program is served by a team of therapists, including a PT, OT, Speech-Language Pathologist, and early childhood special education teacher.
  • In the last 5 years, The Bell Center enrollment has grown by over 100%.
  • The Bell Center serves children with a wide range of special needs from Down Syndrome and cerebral palsy to rare genetic conditions and undiagnosed developmental delays.
  • In the past 3 years, TBC has served children from 16 different AL counties.

I’m passionate about their mission and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Here's how you can help:

  • Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
  • Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!

Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Your support means the world to me!
