In September 2025, I made the decision to donate a kidney as an altruistic donor. This year, I’ll be running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon in support of Kidney Donor Athletes—my first marathon since donation.

Kidney Donor Athletes is an incredible organization that builds a community of active individuals and athletes who inspire, support, and educate others about living kidney donation. They not only show what’s possible after donation, but also help promote the gift of life by encouraging others to consider becoming donors.

By sharing these stories and showing what life after donation can look like, this community also helps inspire others to consider giving the gift of life.

This cause is deeply personal to me. Donation is an incredible act, but the journey doesn’t end there. Having a community that supports donors in staying active, rebuilding, and pushing their limits makes a huge difference.
