I joined JOY International staff as the marketing director in March and have quickly grown passionate about its mission to serve survivors of trafficking, help prevent exploitation, and raise awareness about the healing and support these girls need.

For as long as I can remember, I've had a heart for people living in other parts of the world. Even as a child, I was drawn to stories of people facing hardship and injustice. In my twenties, I had my first opportunity to travel overseas, and those experiences deeply impacted me. Seeing poverty firsthand and learning about the injustices many people face strengthened my desire to help and advocate for those who are vulnerable.

That's one of the reasons JOY's mission resonates so strongly with me. This summer, my dog Luna and I are putting our passion into action by walking to raise funds for JOY's work to prevent trafficking, restore survivors, and bring hope to those in need.
